{Snickerdoodles}

Warning: These cookies are really yummy and go pretty fast

1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 Tbs white sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Cream together butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cup sugar, the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour, cream of tarter, soda and salt. Shape dough by spoonfuls into balls.
Mix the 2 Tbs sugar and the cinnamon together in a bowl. Roll the balls in the mixture to coat. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes on 400 degrees. Do not overbake!

  1. Just wanted to let you know that I tried two of your recipes this past week. The poppy seed chicken and the honey lime chicken enchiladas! LOVED em both, but I have to say for a Mexican food lover....the enchiladas were especially delicious! Thanks for sharing your talents...keeps things fun in the kitchen for me!
