I was really excited to find a cookie recipe that uses Whole Wheat Flour! And of course the Sisters Cafe had one...they are the best!! These turned out to be delicious, and even the next day they were soft and chewy. LOVED them! Pretty sure I ate way too many just because I thought they might be on the healthy side...YEAH RIGHT! haha. But they are sooo good.
1 ¼ cups brown sugar
1 ¼ cups sugar
1 ¼ cups butter
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ¼ teaspoon baking soda
1 ¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 ¼ teaspoon salt
2 ½ cups wheat flour
2 ½ cups oats
2 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract. Stir in dry ingredients and then chocolate chips. Scoop rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. *Makes 3-4 dozen.
These look beautiful and they sound delicious. I found my way here via the Foodbuzz Project Food Blog competition. I've been browsing through your earlier entries and must tell you how much I enjoy the food and recipes you feature here. I'll be back to check your progress through the various legs of the competition. I hope you are having a great day. Good luck and blessings...Mary
